Leominster, Mass. - The New England Volleyball Conference (NEVC) has announced its Athlete of the Week honorees for the week ending 1/25/26. The full list of honorees can be found below.

Athlete of the Week

Ansel Waisler (So., OH), Bard

Waisler racked up double-digit kills in two out of three matches last week. He averaged 3.56 kills per set on a .305 hitting percentage, 1.44 digs per set, and 0.44 blocks per set. Versus Hartwick, Waisler had 10 kills, just one error, a .692 hitting percentage, two digs and a block. Against Purchase, he notched 13 kills, just two errors, a .289 hitting percentage, seven digs and two blocks. In the Drew match he nearly reached double figures with nine kills, adding four digs, two assists, an ace, and a block.

Rookie of the Week

Nyko Whitaker (Fr., S), Curry

Whittaker posted 103 set assists, 9 kills, 16 digs, 10 blocks across four matches over the weekend.
